4.4 EARTHQUAKE REGISTERED IN COSTA RICA -------------------------------------------- March 05, 2010 At 10:49 pm local time a 4.4 earthqake rattled parts of Costa Rica. The epicenter was 7.5 miles deep near Sabanilla Montes de Oca which is just east of the San Jose. Juan Segura the director of the Volcanological and Seismological Observator made the report. Residents felt the movement and phoned television stations. No known injuries or damage reported at this time. USGS only reports 4.5 and higher for worldwide events.
